Cannot say enough nice things about this establishment. Some of the friendliest people you will meet in Japan. Strongly encouraged if you are visiting.
Toru is the very embodiment of hospitality. What a host. And that rubs off on most of the customers who were friendly and chatty. It was almost liking going to a party in someone’s home. The otoshi includes a meal from a set menu that is quite good - far more so than the usual pickled daikon nonsense served at other bars. And if you’re lucky, Toru might even sketch you! Fair to say, I love this bar.
